South Point footage!
Jim Saathoff has just joined and has started showcasing his collection of South Point videos. Check out his footage if you get the chance.
He also asked if there was some way to create a thumbnail for the Vimeo videos he puts up. I am sorry to say I don't know how to do that off hand (the video I upload is from YouTube, and the thumbnail is created automatically.) I see others on the Hui are using Vimeo (it is superior quality, in my opinion) so if I figure it out, I'll let you know.
And if you know anyone else who enjoys shooting Big Island footage, tell them to join. The more the merrier!

Jim,
I know how to select or change the thumbnail for the my videos on Vimeo but it doesnt show up on this site.

Apparently the thumbnail issue is being addressed by staff at NING....guess it's been an onging issue.
Dave, your videos are absolutely great. In the past I've done only still photography and have much to learn about shooting video! I use a Canon HV20 (HD) and Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum for rendering/editing.
